For an authentic Fijian wedding, you can hire traditional wedding costumes in 'masi' (hand-pounded bark with designs stencilled in natural dyes), be escorted by Fijian warriors and serenaded by a choir singing hymns in perfect harmony.

Helpful Wedding Information

- The Naviti does not encourage wedding ceremonies on calendared Public holidays,
  Sundays and New Year’s Eve.
- The resort salon and Spa open 7 days a week, offers special bridal hairdressing and
  makeup services.
- A 25% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of wedding arrangements.
- The above Wedding Packages are quoted in Fijian dollars and include all taxes
- All rates are valid from 01 April 2010 to 31 March 2011.  

Registration 

All couples need to register their intent to marry with the Registry Office in Sigatoka which is a 30 minute drive from the Resort. The registry office is open from 9.00am — 4.00pm Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays). It takes about 30 minutes to complete the formalities. We recommend that this takes place minimum 3 days prior to the day of the wedding.  

Documentation Required

- The bride and groom must bring the following items to allow a smooth process of 
  registering their intent to marry in Fiji. 
- Certified or original copy of their Birth Certificate
- Current passport If previously married a copy of the divorce certificate or a death
  certificate is required.
- The couple must visit the registry office in person to complete thee legalities.
- Couples under 21 years of age are required to produce a consent document signed by a 
  parent.
- Witnesses — staff at the Naviti would be happy to oblige.
- A letter confirming single status from the Marriage Registry where the bride & groom 
  reside (allow for up to 4 weeks for processing)

Conferences & Meetings

The Naviti can easily cater for conference groups from 50-150 delegates. Audiovisual equipment is available, as are Internet/E-mail facilities and services.

At Naviti you have added value of unwinding on your own private beach when the day's business is completed. Daytime drinks, sunset cocktail parties, snacks and canapes, group activities, spouse activities, entertainment, welcome arrival surprises, room drops and themed gala sit down dinners can be arranged beachside, on private decking/island or poolside. The choice is yours!
